Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Force 1 Collaborate For MoMA Exhibition
The Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Force 1 commemorates the Museum of Modern Art’s latest exhibition. “Items: Is Fashion Modern?” features the limited edition pack.
The Off-White designer created a black edition of the silhouette. When you purchase the special Nike Air Force 1, a co-branded Nike Elite basketball sock comes along with it as a gift.
In addition, there is also a re-issuing of a special archive print. The 1Thology: The Air Force 1 poster released in 2006.
Celebrate The AF1
The special items commemorate the cultural significance of the silhouette. Nike originally created the shoe as a basketball sneaker in 1982.
The collaborative AF1 is already available at the MoMA Design Store on 53rd Street. It dropped on Jan. 27 for $170 USD.
Meanwhile, Off-White released a new colorway for its popular Binder Clip Bag. The fan-favorite returns in a beige colorway. It comes with creme colored straps and detailing.
It also sports Virgil Abloh’s distinctive stripes. The leather bag has a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap.
Also, Nike Air VaporMax Plus in “Triple White” will be available on Feb. 9. It retails for $190 USD.
It is a fusion of the Air Max Plus upper and the VaporMax bubble sole unit. The sneaker has a pearl-like all-white upper as well as a translucent sole.
