Who knew that a collaboration between Italian retailer Slam Jam and British record label The Trilogy Tapes would look so cool? Their new Slam Jam x The Trilogy Tapes capsule collection captures a classic sense of rebellion mixed with the current streetwear trends. And the results are nothing short of epic!

Familiar Motifs

The Trilogy Tapes’ fans will recognize the label’s graphic style. They always were into playing with classic imagery and quirking them up. Here, what looks like a 1950s magazine advert was printed unto a long-sleeved white top decorated with black and red details. The contrast looks stellar!

Meanwhile, on a rather grunge-looking black tee, geometric shapes make up what looks like a Mickey Mouse-like figure. Though there’s no definite detail that makes it the iconic mouse. This makes it easier for the companies involved to avoid a lawsuit from Disney!

Elevated Tees

It’s particularly telling that this collab is made up of two t-shirts, both of which will likely sell well. While they both hit today’s streetwear trend, they also evoke the late 90s feel too. It seems playing up with classic causal style won’t go out of trend anytime soon!

Totes Cool!

If the shirts aren’t to your liking, perhaps the cool tote bags will be more to your taste. The similar motifs on the tops make their way unto these solid black accessories. They look particularly striking against the darker background!
