In today’s sportswear market, color reigns supreme. It’s the distinguishable quality that helps separate those that only serve functionality to those with a stylish kick. Case in point: the latest collaboration of PUMA x Felipe Pantone. The German sportswear behemoth partnered up with the Argentinian artist to come up with a capsule line as bright as a rainbow!

Staying Active in Multiple Colors

Known for his valuable work with color, often an intersection between technology and art, Felipe Pantone has become known for his multicolored works. So it’s only natural that his PUMA pieces exhibit the same sort of colorful appeal. The artist’s signature gradient patterns render workout tees, collared polo shirts, and the like. They add a touch of minimalism in different hues.

Bright Colors Stay Sporty

Of course, those aren’t the only brightly-hued pieces in this PUMA collection. Bright neon colors render the line’s sportiest pieces as well. Almost as if the sun itself painted it, a blazing yellow hue looks electrifying on a water-proof zip-up jacket. Meanwhile, bright pink helps feminize a rather masculine-looking pair of nylon shorts with functional pockets.

Rainbow-Painted Footwear

What’s most surprising, however, is that the footwear also got Pantone’s signature gradient effect. A striking pair of stark white trainers get the Pantone treatment with its digitally painted midsole. Blue, violet, red-pink, and yellow practically blend to create a mirage of a desert in high heat. It’s a visual effect that hasn’t been done on any sort of sporty footwear before!
