Streetwear isn’t dead and sometimes, you just need to remind people of that. And where’s the best place to do that? In social media, of course! GAON Clothing‘s latest Instagram series has put their streetwear fans at the forefront. It further proves that they’ve gotten a lot of traction within the market.

Simple Streetwear Lives On

GAON Clothing’s simple street-style reigns supreme in this Instagram series. Photos upon photos of people rocking their cool tees easy separates show of the lax attitude that the brand is known for.  It’s a stark contrast to other streetwear labels out there, most of which go the maximalist route in terms of design and graphics.

Logos Are Enough

In fact, it’s pretty clear that in terms of motifs, the brand has often just relied on their logos. Though their own signature imagery can look colorful and quirky, they stand out when stamped on simple black and white pieces. Even their color scheme doesn’t stray too far from somber neutral tones.

Oversized Look Reigns Supreme

Silhouette-wise, it’s pretty clear that GAON Clothing is all about the oversized look. Practically none of their items are body-hugging nor even tight enough. It adds to the urban edge that they’re proudly showcasing. This Instagram story just proves that the oversized look still reigns supreme in streetwear, perhaps even more so than any other style in the market.
