Everyone wants to go to the tropics, which is probably why they inspired the Amsterdam-based streetwear label Daily Paper for their new resort line. With tie-dye prints, seersucker stripes, and colorful sportswear, their latest offering consists of pieces you would wear to a sunny getaway.
It’s clear that summer escape to any tropical climate was what dominated Daily Paper’s minds when designing this line. Easy separates in both pastel and bright tie-dye motifs present this idea right away. Also notable is a nice black button-down printed with what looks like a series of postcards. Souvenirs from their latest vacation, maybe?
Surprisingly, they turned the vintage factor up a notch with a stand-out seersucker set of separates. Its pastel appeal harkens back to early 20th-century resort-style. It’s a modern take on an indelible menswear classic that still works to this day.
The easy separates are what will likely draw customers to invest in the line. A resort collection is, after all, made with vacationing in mind. They’ll love these tie-dye and pastel iterations, giving off both an elegant yet casual vibe. Even the denim ensemble looks light enough to work as an afternoon beach look!
Brightly-Hued Sporty Classics
The denim look isn’t the only sport number in this collection too. Eye-catching brightly-hued sportswear elevates this line into contemporary status. Stand-out pieces include a sunshine yellow hoodie, a flesh-colored tee, and a cargo vest. When worn with the other pieces, they’ll likely form strong streetwear looks worthy of an Instagram shot.
