BMX-Inspired BAPE Capsule Collection Drops On Sep. 30

Bike Enthusiasts Will Enjoy The New BAPE Capsule Collection

“DIRTRACE” is the name of the BMX-inspired BAPE capsule collection. Fans can now purchase both apparel and accessories in the set.

The concept of BMX off-road race inspired the collection. Cav Empt’s Sk8thing has returned with the brand to design the graphics especially in giving the label’s Ape head a more athletic makeover.

More than Apparel and Accessories

The capsule collection features full-zip hoodies, sweatpants, jackets, t-shirts, long-sleeved tees, and tights. There are also accessories such as a bike lock, water bottles, and socks.

Moreover, the set features a limited edition 26-inch bike covered in BAPE’s 1st Camo. A bicycle specialty shop named “W-BASE” in Shibuya, Tokyo produced the bike.

One of the most noteworthy pieces is the camo jacket which has reflective overlays on the front and back. A full-zip sweater with a dirt bike helmet image embellished on the hood and a long-sleeved tee filled with the brand’s logo in monochromatic hues are also available.

The release of the collection was on Sep. 30. Pieces are now available at BAPE retailers as well as on the brand’s online store.

BAPE has also dropped its Military Rock Star collection last week while its “Dot Camo” collaboration with PORTER was released earlier this month.
