Japanese streetwear behemoth BAPE has upgraded its latest collection to luxurious new heights. In collaboration with American leather goods brand Coach, they instilled a new elegance to their usually edgy styles. And yet, their offering still looks as loud, colorful, and bombastic as ever.

Check out some of the collection’s highlights in the gallery below:

Sportswear Made Sophisticated

What’s likely to sell like hotcakes include their sportswear selection. Puffers increased in volume while hoodies receive a shimmering new finish. With slightly more volumized silhouettes, they’re bound to capture streetwear aficionados’ attention.

A particular standout is the chocolate-brown leather puffer. Obviously upscale in the choice of textiles, the piece puts forth the very best of both labels.

Not to mention the series of graphic tees bearing both brands’ logos. Rendered in eye-popping shades of cherry red, lemon yellow, and fern green they provide a simple solution to anyone’s streetwear needs.

Streetwise Take on the Classic Monogram

The accessories steal the show as well, especially with how they reworked Coach‘s classic monogram. The iconic “C” pattern decorates a range of backpacks, fanny-packs, and totes, all giving a tinge of that upscale touch to otherwise ordinary baggage.

A few pieces even don the monogram in technicolor mode. It’s a startling mix of the Japanese brand’s loud signature with the American company’s famous motif. And yet they add a touch of youth to an otherwise mature normally mature design aesthetic.

Fanciful Footwear in Bright Colorways

Finally, the footwear also allows both brands’ patrons to don a head-to-toe look from the collaboration. But this time around, they offer their sleek sneakers with a mixture of colors and patterns. The classic beige monogram colorway gives that tinge of sophistication while the technicolor options look edgier and younger.

They even mixed multi-colored leather and suede into one model, giving a more three-dimensional look to the sneakers. It’s highly likely that this will be their best-seller from the collection.
