WTAPS x Timberland Collaborate On Iconic 6-Inch Waterproof Boot

WTAPS x Timberland reunite for a new version of the latter’s famous premium 6-inch boot. The latest iteration of the shoe boasts of military style and swag.

Timberland already had several collaborations with heavyweights in the industry. Just this month, the American bootmaker revealed projects with Off-White, atmos, Shoe Palace, MADNESS, The North Face, and Engineered Garments, among others.

This time, the brand reunites with Japanese label WTAPS. Their joint 6-inch boot features its iconic water-resistance and substantial silhouette.

Moreover, the latest version of the shoe comes in an all-gray nubuck upper with matching laces and sole. This is in line with WTAPS designer Tetsu Nishiyama’s military preferences.

It’s All In The Details

The premium waterproof boot has scrupulous details such as the grid emboss pattern on the quarter panel. It also features a dog tag and the signature WTAPS woven label on the boots’ tongue.

To make it even more interesting, the duo printed the GPS coordinates of WTAPS’ headquarter. The boots’ collar showcases the text “35d40.33NL 139d42.42EL.”

The boot complements  WTAPS’ contemporary military outfits well. It became available at Timberland and WTAPS stockists on Saturday, Nov. 25.

Meanwhile, Timberland also collaborated with Supreme on a stars and stripes version of its 6-inch boot.
