Latest WTAPS x PORTER Collaboration Gives Spotlight On Wallets

A new WTAPS x PORTER collection focuses on collaborative wallets. The two Japanese fashion labels linked up once more to create an accessory that is ready for the field.

WTAPS reimagined the wallet according to its signature military inspiration. “TOKYO WALLET” is the name of the accessory.

It comes in both navy and green ripstop. Moreover, it also features both WTAPS and PORTER logos on the front of the item. Another logo of the former can be found on the inside as well.

The wallet has red hang tags clipped to its sides. Embroidered on the front is the text “WTAPS” while the rear features the WTAPS phrase “VISUAL UPARMORED.”

A zipper on the rear, snap buttons, and multiple compartments complete the collaborative wallet’s look. Its aesthetic certainly shows durability and sturdiness.

WTAPS and PORTER released the TOKYO WALLET on Oct. 14. Fans can purchase the item at select retailers.

Meanwhile, WTAPS also collaborated with BAPE for a Fall/Winter 2017 collection. Their collaborative collection may also give the spotlight on BAPE’s CAMO design.

The image posted by BAPE and WTAPS on their social media accounts showed the “ISSUE” text. It seems to hint at the militaristic digital camo print featured on the latter’s collaboration with Herschel Supply Co.
