Visvim Spring/Summer 2019 Collection

Hiroki Nakamura is back at it again. His brand dropped a first look at the visvim Spring/Summer 2019 collection.

 

It was only last July when visvim released the lookbook for its Fall/Winter 2018 collection. “Peerless” includes staple pieces usual to Nakamura’s brand. 

There are worn-in denim jackets, washed tees, and the Skagway trainer. Moreover, there are new additions as well such as the Yakuta blanket coat.

There are also wide-leg pants, herringbone cargo pants, and workwear suspenders. visvim’s Fall/Winter 2018 collection also includes accessories. It has wool berets along with the standard collection of beanies.

Checkerboards and Polka Dots

Visvim’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection debuted during a special exhibition. It happened in Hong Kong. Milk Magazine captured the images of the pieces.

The SS19 collection features the Japanese label’s signature denim and suedes. This is apparent in all pieces from apparel, footwear, and even accessories.

There are also mixed prints such as polka dots and plaids. These materials interweave together on select footwear options as well as lighter seasonal jackets.

Notable footwear includes checkerboard wooden slides, soft multi-fabric slides, and various luxe-looking silhouettes in clean white colorways.

Other items featured in the images include shirts and accessories. These come with a strong focus on red or blue polka dot print.
