Virgil Abloh x Takashi Murakami x Gagosian Work Together For “Wearable Art”

Virgil Abloh x Takashi Murakami x Gagosian’s latest project revolves around art and fashion. The three-way collaboration sees the creation of an interesting and exciting tee.

 

Virgil Abloh continues to work with other brands. The Off-White founder and designer recently teamed up with Italian brand Grog for a set of marker pens.

The six-piece set consists of pens in the following colors: black, blue, orange, red, yellow, and white. The set is now available at Off-White’s web store for $142 USD.

Off-White also worked on a capsule with KM20 which features streetwear staples for all shapes and sizes.

When Art Meets Fashion

Abloh’s latest project with Takashi Murakami and the Gagosian Gallery London centers on a collage print. The design features a portrait of William Shakespeare with neon pink paint overlays and Murakami’s signature insignia.

The back of a white t-shirt with Off-White branding showcases the artwork. It also has the text “HANDMADE.”

There is no official announcement yet on the t-shirt’s release date. Stay tuned for updates.

In related news, Virgil Abloh unveiled his Off-White Pre-Fall 2018 collection recently. It showcases a contemporary take on formal dressing with office-ready outfits. The assortment includes chic ensembles and even cowboy boots.
