Urban Outfitters and Kareem Burke Drop Themed Capsule Collection

The duo alluded to Jay-Z’s 1996 album “Reasonable Doubt” with the collection. The themed merch by Urban Outfitters and Kareem Burke is now available at the former’s locations.

Urban Outfitters continues its trend of releasing hip-hop merch every season. The major retailer collaborated with Roc-A-Fella co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke for its limited edition assortment.

The collection took its inspiration from Jay-Z’s debut album. It consists of hoodies, crew neck sweaters, graphic t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, a snapback hat, and a pom beanie. The price of the items range from $29 to $64 USD.

Each garment comes in black. The capsule features graphics from the album’s artwork. It also showcases song titles and popular one-liners. Moreover, the signature Roc-A-Fella chain logo makes its way to the collection.

A Nod To The Album In More Ways

Burke took to Instagram to confirm his collaboration with Urban Outfitters. He also admitted why he chose to partner with the brand.

“I wanted to partner with a retailer that speaks to the everyday consumer by offering quality at an affordable price point,” he wrote on the post. Moreover, Burke announced that another item is on its way.

A jacket will become available soon. Only 196 pieces will be released, which is a nod to the album’s release in 1996.
