Stone Island Spring/Summer 2018 Outerwear Collection

New Stone Island Spring/Summer 2018 outerwear pieces dropped. They are lightweight and perfect for the transition from cold to warm weather.

Stone Island unveiled its outerwear capsule collection last April. The brand added a new “Lamy Velour” range to its Spring/Summer 2018 assortment.

The new collection arrives in a “Hyper Light Nylon Tela” textile, which is lightweight and can be easily packed. The pieces feature the material on stand-up collar jackets or hooded full-zip jackets. It comes in a range of pastel and military-inspired colors.

Stone Island also makes the “Hyper Light Nylon Tela” fabric using its rigorous garment dyeing and washing process. The pieces then end with a special agent to give it water- and wind-repellant characteristics.

Innovative Fabrics and Techniques

The new outerwear pieces from Stone Island features the label’s signature innovative materials. There are also textures including the Nylon Metal and a breathable, membrane-bonded fabric.

These materials cause the pieces to be water- and wind-resistant. An insulated jacket made with Primaloft technology comes with increased water repellancy.

Meanwhile, Stone Island’s “Marina” Spring/Summer 2018 capsule has camouflage and stripe patterns on the pieces. Moreover, the brand stuck with spring-ready color palettes.

The brand showcased the pieces in new videos. Two videos showed two different aspects of the capsule.
