PUMA Thunder Spectra Receives Three New Colorways

The PUMA Thunder Spectra returns for the summer season with a clean “Desert” pack. It features three muted colorways that will still let you stand out from the crowd.

Recently, PUMA gave us nostalgia with its RS-0 “Play” pack. It showcases four new styles for the silhouette. There are four new colorways: white, black, gray, and pink.

The design takes its cues from the aesthetics of videos games from the ’80s. The shoes have leather uppers, supportive inserts which take after the buttons of old consoles, and innovative cushioning technology.

The collection dropped last June 21. Each shoe retailed for $100 USD.

Hear The Thunder

The Thunder Spectra is a highly-coveted silhouette that honors PUMA’s past team up with Alexander McQueen. Now, there are three new iterations for the model in muted colorways.

The shoe comes from a combination of reptile-like textiles, premium leather, and hairy suede. The upper features the muted tones of green, blush, and white.

Meanwhile, there are a TPU system and PUMA formstripe on the lateral sides of the shoe. Lastly, a chunky midsole showcases minimal PUMA branding on the heel and tongue which complete the aesthetic of the silhouette.

PUMA’s Thunder Spectra “Desert” pack will be available on Aug. 2 for women and Aug. 9 for men. Each shoe retails for $120 USD.
