nonnative x B JIRUSHI YOSHIDA’s Travel-Inspired Capsule

The nonnative x B JIRUSHI YOSHIDA capsule collection takes its inspiration from travel. “Special Airlift” pieces are the essentials that jet-setters need.

Last February, nonnative dropped the lookbook for its Spring/Summer 2018 collection. The assortment, named “The Handyman Service,” offers a satirical spin on the working class handyman.

The lookbook takes place in what seems to be a back room office space. The models reenact everyday scenarios as they strike poses wearing pieces from the collection.

The collection features crewneck pullovers, printed button-down shirts, flannel tops, and denim jackets. There are also cargo pants and chino trousers in the collection.

The pieces display the assortment’s workwear aesthetic. In addition, a short video clip accompanies the lookbook. It gives a humorous ’90s-era television informercial vibe.

B JIRUSHI YOSHIDA is the travel-inspired retail concept from BEAMS and YOSHIDA KABAN. The pieces in the collection are versatile, comfortable, and practical.

Aside from travel, there are also traces of military aesthetic in the range. All items arrive in an olive color palette.

The assortment includes a GORE Windstopper jacket and soft cotton t-shirts as well as sweatshirts. Lightweight, relaxed trousers are also available.

The capsule dropped on Apr. 15. Pieces are available at B JIRUSHI YOSHIDA stores in Tokyo’s Narita Airport and the BEAMS Planet store in Kansai Airport.
