Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN” Version of the Nike Cortez is Piping Hot
Rapper and artist Kendrick Lamar has unveiled his own version of the Nike Cortez. His “DAMN” iteration sees the sihouette in an all-red color.
Back in August, the Compton-based artist took to his Instagram account to confirm his official partnership with Nike. This came as no surprise since he has been spotted wearing the shoe all throughout the “DAMN” tour.
Lamar’s first release of the Cortez sees an all-red version of the silhouette. It features a simple design with bold details.
The Cortez sneaker features the “DAMN” tour type on its tongue. It also sports a lace tab with the acronym “TDE.” This stands for Top Dawg Entertainment, which is Lamar’s music label.
The heel tabs also bear the artist’s initials in a bold white color. Moreover, there are black and white versions of the silhouette that will be released as well.
There has not been any confirmation on the release date and price of the shoe. Stay tuned for more updates on Lamar’s Cortez sneaker.
Meanwhile, a new Nike Vandal High Supreme iteration will drop just in time for Halloween. The shoe will be getting a “Back to the Future” theme with its “Doc Brown” colorway.
