Mafia Szn Merch Lookbook Goes #SUPERMOON-Esque

Yeezy Mafia takes inspiration from Kanye West’s #SUPERMOON social media campaign. The Mafia Szn merch lookbook drops.

Kanye West took social media by storm with the help of influencers like the Clermont Twins, Veneda Budny, Kristen Noel Crawley and more. The Yeezy 500 “Super Moon Yellow” campaign received backlash for alleged plagiarism.

However, Diet Prada called out West on the similarities of his YEEZY 500 Instagram campaign with Rita Minissi’s work. The viral social media ad highlights the recently dropped YEEZY 500 in “Super Moon Yellow.”

Some images show subjects embracing each other. Meanwhile, other photos also show them that it’s just playful banter.

Minissi described her previous work which explores identities. It was “inspired by dealing with personal trauma and a resulting desire to reconnect with her own body.”

Controversy Upon Controversy

Mafia Szn is the apparel brand of Yeezy Mafia, which is the infamous Twitter and IG account that releases YEEZY sneaker, clothing, and other brands’ footwear news.

Moreover, Yeezy Mafia drew criticisms a lot of times from YEEZY and Kim Kardashian for posting YEEZY leaks. This adds to the impending negative feedback that awaits the drop of its lookbook.

Meanwhile, the range features hoodies, shorts, and a denim jacket. They will be available on Jun. 23.
