Iconic New Balance 990 Model Featured In GRIND’s Latest Editorial

The New Balance 990 silhouette takes center stage in GRIND’s editorial. This comes after the brand lowered the price of the shoe.

Last month, GRIND’s Spring 2018 issue put the spotlight on garments that fit the concept of “Urban Functional Wear.”

Some brands featured in the editorial are Off-WhiteGosha RubchinskiyUNDERCOVER and ALYX. Pieces from Stone Island Shadow Project also makes its way to the spread.

Models dressed in a mixture of sportswear, workwear, and military-inspired garments. This resulted in something that looks like city armor.

The Japanese lifestyle publication honored the classic runner through a feature in a new editorial. There were four different colorways in the images.

Each of the featured scenes put models in different outfits and scenarios. The highlight was on the runner’s versatile nature.

It can work with casual sportswear outfits to rugged workwear settings and even with a formal ensemble. The model can cover a broad range of styles.

Meanwhile, New Balance 990v2 “Winter Peaks” debuted last October. The luxurious makeover saw a premium leather and suede version of the sneaker.

It came just in time for the fall/winter season. This season’s colorway for the silhouette boasts of a tan suede and mesh upper.
