A Converse x “Toy Story” Collaboration Is Here

The Converse x “Toy Story” collaboration is a three-part collection. Jack Purcells reworked the silhouettes.

“Toy Story” was the inspiration behind a footwear collection by Vans way back in 2016. The assortment featured a Sk8-Hi Reissue PT rendered in brown leather. This is for Woody’s leather boots with custom cactus embroidery.

Vans also created an Old Skool silhouette made to Woody’s image. It included denim and cow skin-printed side panels and complemented by a brown side stripe.

To Infinity And Beyond

Converse’s “Toy Story” collection features reworks of the All Star 100 High and the All Star 100 Low silhouettes. Jack Purcell created the rework based on the characters of the popular animated movie.

Purcell took inspiration from Buzz Lightyear’s space outfit. He used a green, white canvas with purple and red embellishments.

The All Star 100 Lows come in a collage style. They have black and white sketches of Woody, Jessie, Mr. Potatohead, Alien, Ham, and Slinky. The All Star Hi-Top, on the other hand, is in a multicolored canvas.

The collection is currently only available at atmos. There are reports that it may have a U.S. release.

Meanwhile, you have to check out Vans’ Spongebob Squarepants footwear and apparel collection.
