Burberry x Opening Ceremony Collaboration

The Burberry x Opening Ceremony capsule collection evokes a vintage vibe. It features bold typography and patterns.

Burberry previously teamed up with Gosha Rubchinskiy for a collection earlier this year. It is part of the latter’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection.

The pieces feature heavy streetwear influence with Burberry’s iconic Nova Check pattern and classic silhouettes. Moreover, it includes trench coats and reversible Harrington jackets.

It showcases reimagined outerwear, bucket hats, baseball caps, coats, and tailored shirts. These come complete with an embroidery of Rubchinskiy’s initials.

Gosha Rubchinskiy and Burberry were part of Grailed’s 30 Most Popular Brands of 2017. The Russian designer came in 23rd place while the British label came in 28th place.

What An Ad-Vintage

The limited edition pieces include basics like logo tees. There are also pieces from Burberry’s archive reissued in colorful rainbow themes. In addition, the range also has summer-ready accessories such as the “rainbow vintage check” totes and hats.

The striking editorial shot by Salavatore Caputo features street-cast models on Kiev, Ukraine. Each image captures intimate, free-spirited moments and showcases the designs as well.

Burberry and Opening Ceremony’s capsule collection will be available online at openingceremony.com. You can also purchase the pieces at Opening Ceremony stores in New York and Los Angeles.
