BAPE Year Of The Dog Collection Commemorates The Lunar New Year

The BAPE Year of the Dog collection honors the upcoming holiday this February. The assortment features Chinese zodiac designs to celebrate the Year of the Dog.

The collection showcases BAPE’s iconic APE head motif. It comes alongside a dog spread across black, red, and white tees and crewnecks.

The capsule also includes apparel decorated with the label’s sidekick, Baby Milo. The character dresses like a dog on hoodies and tees in both adult and kids sizing.

The items will be available in BAPE retailers and online on Saturday, Jan. 2. Prices range from ¥4,600 JPY for a kids T-shirt to ¥19,800 JPY for the pullover hoodie (about $41 USD to $175 USD).

Meanwhile, the Japanese streetwear brand previously gave out mooncakes for the mid-autumn festival. It featured the brand’s iconic Ape head covering the top of the mini egg custard mooncakes.

Moreover, the pullover jacket and cap will also showcase embroidered detailing. The assortment will also drop this Saturday, Jan. 6. Prices range from ¥9,000 to ¥48,000 JPY (about $80 to $425 USD).
