BAPE x WTAPS Collaboration For This Season May Feature Iconic CAMO Pattern

The two streetwear giants teased their BAPE x WTAPS Fall/Winter 2017 collection on social media. They also took to their respective Instagram accounts to make the announcement.

BAPE and WTAPS worked together in the past. Back in 2005, the duo released their previous collaboration with the Hideout Store.

It included M-65 jackets, jungle shirts, and pants. The pieces featured a digital camouflage pattern. This time, their duo’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection may also present items using the CAMO design.

A November Release?

The image posted by BAPE and WTAPS on their social media accounts showed the “ISSUE” text. It seems to hint at the militaristic digital camo print featured on the latter’s collaboration with Herschel Supply Co.

The WTAPS and Herschel collab featured five distinct bag types made out of high-density nylon. Moreover, it also had a modern camouflage print.

Meanwhile, WTAPS’ Spring/Summer 2017 collection also used the military aesthetic for daily wear earlier this year. Most noteworthy pieces in this collection included the BUDS short-sleeved shirt and cargo pants in a tiger-striped camo pattern.

In addition, the image posted on Instagram also had the caption “November 2017.” It is highly likely that the collection will be released next month.
