BAPE x Adidas Samba Continues Collaborative Efforts

BAPE x Adidas Samba may be releasing a new set of sneakers and apparel items. There are rumors of the upcoming collaboration.

BAPE recently released seasonal pieces for Spring 2018. The Japanese streetwear label dropped a Tiger slip-on for summer. It comes in two colorways: black and olive.

Both colors have a clean white midsole and elastic insert to make sure that wearer gets a comfortable fit. “A Bathing Ape” is on the medial side in white.

The rumors began with famed streetwear leak publication Supreme Leak News. There are reports that the collaboration will see the Adidas Samba silhouette in BAPE’s iconic 1ST CAMO design.

The publication also included a mock-up of the sneaker on their Instagram post. SNKRMOB created the image.

Meanwhile, Adidas unveiled its collaboration with Pharrell Williams for an Afro Hu NMD pack. It showcases the vibrant culture and fashion of Africa. There are three colorways featuring blue, red, yellow, and orange colors.

Each form comes with safari-inspired patterns. These rest on top of a new trail-style sole. Above the uppers, there are phrases in black and white that read “Milele Mbele.” These mean “Mother Land” and “Empower and Inspire.” Purple, black, and blue lacing cages complete the aesthetic of the shoes.
