Alexander Wang x Adidas Spring/Summer 2018 Capsule

Here’s a look at the pieces from the Alexander Wang x Adidas Spring/Summer 2018 capsule collection. The six-piece range features sportswear essentials.

Alexander Wang previously launched his Season 2 collaboration with Adidas Originals last July. The collection featured 90s logos, neon colors, as well as high-fashion ski masks, giving off a raver-meets-cyclist vibe.

Last October, the second drop for Season 2 arrived. It still drew from the same inspiration but also incorporated more classic pieces in classic colors.

The staples included in the collection are the brand’s iconic v-neck soccer jersey and straight-leg, three-stripes track pants. The renowned designer also made his version of Adilette pool slides.

Sporty Essentials

This time, his six-piece SS18 capsule includes a tracksuit, skirt, and shorts. Each feature the subverted Trefoil logo.

The designer transformed sleeves as an accent. He sewed them on to the waist of the track jacket and shorts alike to create a cozy profile.

Wang also combined the styles of motorcycle pants and running tights to create leggings. These create the illusion of looking like one thing but feeling like something else entirely. Moreover, there’s a scarf with arm sleeves to complete the modern capsule collection.

The pieces will be available on Mar. 3 at Adidas Originals and Alexander Wang stores.
