AAPE and Baby Milo Collector Lanterns Now Available

Fans can now purchase AAPE and Baby Milo limited edition items to celebrate the mid-autumn festival. The Japanese streetwear brand is releasing two collector lanterns.

The items come as a celebration of the full-moon. People celebrate the holiday by sharing moon-shaped cakes and carrying lanterns.

The lanterns feature the brand’s AAPE head and its Baby Milo character. The items are available at the Baby Milo Store in Hong Kong and other select AAPE By A Bathing Ape locations.

Moreover, customers can receive one lantern of choice for free upon any purchase. Both lanterns are available until stocks run out.

In Celebration of the Moon

Earlier this month, BAPE and AAPE released mooncakes for the mid-autumn festival. Select stores gave out mini egg custard mooncakes with the brand’s iconic Ape head covering the top.

Each giveaway has four mooncakes neatly placed in a lunchbox style container. It also was protected by BAPE’s camouflage packaging. AAPE mooncakes, on the other hand, had in a clear protective case.

The mooncakes were handed out for free to customers who spent about $700 USD at BAPE’s Hong Kong locations. Meanwhile, AAPE customers had to spend about $320 USD to get the free gifts.

AAPE has opened its LA store along with an exclusive capsule collection. BAPE has also released its BMX-inspired collection as well as its Military Rock Star collection.
